Your Ticket to the City's 'Hold Me Tight' Date Night - The Paranormal Show Haunts the GTA
By: Sam Toman
DO YOU BELIEVE IN GHOSTS? Chances are you will after witnessing the GTA's newest spine-tingling show. Hot off the success of Evil Dead: The Musical, the Diesel Playhouse offers The Paranormal Show for a frightening engagement running until May 3rd 2008. Period costumes, a seance and a lobby packed full of ghoulish delights hearken back to the Victorian era's fascination with the unexplainable. In a terrifying twist, employees at the Diesel Playhouse swear the building is actually haunted (not just by ghosts of dead acting careers). So garb a costume, suspend your disbelief and bring an extra pair of pants, 'cause this show is gonna scare them right off.
The Paranormalist, Scott McClelland states...
"There will be a sense of awe and wonder. Everyone is completely in character. We transform the theatre into full Victorian splendour.
There is a seance, mentalism and feats of mind over matter. It's like going to see a great horror movie, with lots of laughs. It's supernatural fun for everyone!"
